Warehouse Operative, Selby

We currently have a vacancy for a Warehouse Operative at our Selby site, who will provide a key link between our customers and our operation. Working as part of a small team, the role would suit a hands-on, enthusiastic team-player who also holds the ability to work alone with minimal supervision and the willingness to take on tasks outside of your normal work area to help others meet objectives.

The Main Duties of this role include:

• competent operation of the warehouse management system
• Transporting product from the packing lines, carrying out positioning checks and pallet wrapping, labelling and storing
• Carrying out pick tasks to meet customer orders
• Completion of all required food safety and quality documentation
• Carrying out Health & Safety and HACCP checks
• Work with the Hygiene teams to ensure an integrated approach to plant hygiene
• Liaise closely with the packing operatives to achieve an efficiently run packing line and warehouse
